We help you
find the way.
Every step.
Mountain Valor connects rural Virginia veterans and their families to the benefits, resources, and community they've earned, with real people who stay until the job is done.
What We Do
We know the way.
We'll walk it with you.
The benefits and resources available to veterans are real. The system that holds them is complicated, fragmented, and hard to navigate, especially in rural Virginia where help is far away and answers are hard to come by.
Mountain Valor provides hands-on, trauma-informed support through weekly outreach events, one-on-one navigation, caregiver education, and partnerships that bring resources directly to rural communities. There are no dues. No eligibility hoops. No expectation that rural families should somehow find us. We go to them.

About Mountain Valor
Veteran family success story
"When my dad passed away, Mountain Valor guided us through the process of transitioning his veteran benefits to my mom. Dad had always handled the financial and military-related paperwork during their 50 years of marriage, so stepping into that world felt overwhelming. A single 20-minute phone call, and the clear, bulleted follow-up email tailored specifically to Mom's situation, was invaluable. It cut through the sea of confusing information and gave me clarity, direction, and confidence when I desperately needed it. Mountain Valor has been an incredible resource for our family."
